Messaging Terms

Last updated: 2026-08-22

These Messaging Terms govern the SMS/text-message programs operated on the Merchant360 platform by Electronic Payments, Inc. (“EPI”, “we”, “us”) on behalf of the businesses that use Merchant360. By opting in to text messages from a business on a Merchant360 booking, payment, or invoice page, you agree to these terms.

1. Program Description

When you provide your mobile number and check the SMS consent box, you agree to receive recurring automated text messages from that business, such as appointment reminders and confirmations, payment receipts, invoice notices, and occasional offers. The consent language shown at opt-in describes the specific message types for that program.

2. Consent Is Not a Condition of Purchase

Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services. You can complete your booking, payment, or invoice without opting in.

3. Message Frequency, Rates

Message frequency varies based on your activity with the business. Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier plan. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

4. Opting Out and Help

Reply STOP at any time to cancel and stop receiving messages. After you send STOP, you may receive one final message confirming your opt-out. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at 1-800-966-5520.

5. Privacy

We record each opt-in and opt-out – including the consent language shown, the page, and the date – as proof of consent under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and carrier (A2P 10DLC) rules. We do not sell, rent, or share mobile opt-in information or SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information is used only to deliver the messages you requested and to operate the messaging service, including our messaging provider, which transmits the texts on our behalf. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

6. Support

Questions about a specific message program should go to the business that sent the message. For platform questions, contact Electronic Payments at 1-800-966-5520.
